Mobile App Onboarding
OVERVIEW
A telehealth app aimed to improve onboarding and boost account creation. The marketing team asked our product team to align the app’s design with branding, as its look had drifted from the website. The process also needed streamlining to remove outdated, redundant elements.
MY APPROACH
The app lacked splash screens to reinforce its capabilities, so I condensed key marketing messages to align with the website. To streamline onboarding, I simplified email/password entry and added encouraging prompts like "Let's get you set up." Working with the product manager and legal team, I relocated certain policy disclosures to later, more relevant stages, reducing user confusion.
